Description: Open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Individual/Team format 4 round Swiss System with 6 sections:
RATED: Junior High/High School (K-12), Elementary (K-6), Primary (K-3), and Primary (K-1).
NON-RATED: (K-12) & (K-3).
**This is not an elimination tournament; all players will play all rounds unless they withdraw from the tournament.
US Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required for the RATED sections.
US Chess Federation Membership may be purchased online at the USCF website.

Entry Fee: $15 per player. Bring chess clocks and sets, none provided.
To Register: Each player is responsible for registering online via the Events4Chess, by Friday,
December 11 at 9:00 pm. (Registration close). After registration close you will be assessed a $5 late fee and will not be paired for round 1. You will enter as a ½ point for round 1.

Schedule: Check-in is not required. Please arrive by 8:30 am to inform us of players that will not attend. Pairings are posted at 8:40 am. Announcements start at 8:50 am and play begins at 9:00 am! Please be seated as soon as the pairings are posted. Round times are 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30.
Time Control: Game in 30 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.
Awards: Individual: Trophy to all who score 3.5 or more points. Medallion to all who score 3.0 points. Ribbon to all who score 2.5 points. Participation Certificate to all.
Team: Top 3 to each section. **Team scores will be based on the top 4 scores.**
