Championship and Qualifier sections are USCF Rated. Only the Qualifier sections allow for eligibility for the State tournament. Please see the flyer for details on qualifying requirements for the AZ State Scholastic Championship.
Championship section - Individual Swiss format with 4 rounds in 4 divisions. Game in 60 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.
Qualifier section - Individual Swiss format with 5 rounds in 4 divisions. Game in 40 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay. Open to students in grades K-9. Players may play up, but only qualify for the division that they participate in.
The entry fee is $20 per player.
